About Our Founder
A decade of agency and consulting engagements in advertising, branding, promotion, trade strategy and CRM for clients including Apple, Reebok, and Nestle, inspired Rob to launch Colangelo Synergy Marketing in 1993. He saw an opportunity to change the traditional agency model by combining consulting + marketing + creative into one organization developing media- and channel-agnostic solutions that help clients drive their marketing and sales goals.
Rob built the agency from the “bottom up and shelf out” and he did it organically. As a result, the agency’s culture and integrity are protected and managed to one bottom line so its recommendations are always discipline-neutral – focused on what will drive client business results.
In the years that followed, the agency’s founding principles have remained constant through changing market conditions, emerging industry disciplines like Shopper Marketing, and new technologies including Digital, Social and Mobile.
